Museums throughout Butte County will be open from 10 to 4 with free admission.   At Patrick Ranch:

  • Vintage Iron Museum will be open with corn grinding for the kids; and

  • Blacksmiths will be demonstrating many tasks;

  • the UC Davis Master Gardeners will be on hand to talk about their program and demonstration garden; and

  • the Glenwood House museum will be open for tours with our excellent docents.

Durham Improvement Group kick-off and planning

The Durham Community Foundation invites you to be in on the formation of an exciting new venture for Durham!

Please join us on Wednesday November 12, 2025, 6:30 pm, at the Durham Memorial Hall for the inaugural meeting of the Durham Improvement Group (DIG), a group dedicated to the enhancement of the greater Durham community.  

We’re bringing together community organizations, businesses, school groups and community members to discuss DIG:

  • Get involved in the ground breaking of a new endeavor in our little town

  • Help Durham enhance our community

  • Help plan, roll up your sleeves and DIG in!

Feel free to invite friends, family and neighbors and TOGETHER we can all DIG it!
