The Power of 100+ Nuts is an innovative and community-driven approach to local philanthropy!
Collective Giving: Over 100 community members each contribute $100, creating a substantial pooled donation of $10,000
Direct Community Impact: Local organizations have the opportunity to secure significant funding
Transparent Selection Process:
Three pre-qualified organizations are randomly selected to present
Organizations give a focused 10-minute pitch to explain their mission and planned use of funds
Winner is chosen by secret ballot from event attendees
RSVP to attend and donate.
Pledgeyour $100 donation if you can’t attend.
Apply to present at our 2026 event on behalf of your community-based organization serving the greater Durham area (generally, the boundaries of the Durham Unified School District).
